Brocades, designed by Edignwn Type, captures a vintage craft aesthetic through its layered letterforms and deliberate imperfections. This display collection pairs a flowing monoline script with matching stencil weights in both sans and serif, giving you four distinct style variations (regular, rounded, rough, and stamp) across each typeface. Swapping between styles on the same project is a feature that sets this collection apart.

Brocades shines on work that demands authentic handmade character without requiring the actual labor to fake it convincingly. Vintage brand logos pull visual authority from the stencil variants, Etsy product labels gain instant texture from the stamp style's worn edges, rustic event packaging and craft-fair signage transform with a single font swap, and apparel graphics come alive when you layer the regular weight against the rough for a collaged effect. The 52 included dingbat illustrations (animal and motorcycle motifs) extend the vintage narrative directly into your layouts, eliminating the hunt for complementary artwork. This frees you to focus on layout and hierarchy instead of scrounging for matching ornaments.

With multilingual support, PUA encoding, and both TTF and OTF formats across all 14 fonts, you've got everything a professional designer needs in one package. If your project demands that deliberate, handcrafted aesthetic without feeling overwrought, Brocades delivers. Get it on Creative Fabrica.
