Alquitran by Rodrigo Typo is a street art-inspired dingbat collection that brings the raw energy of Pichação to contemporary design. Rodrigo developed this family across multiple weights, spanning Thin to Black, so you get genuine flexibility for layering, hierarchy, and visual emphasis. The core typeface is complemented by three dedicated dingbat weights loaded with ornamental marks and gestural flourishes sourced directly from Brazilian graffiti culture. This makes Alquitran especially strong for graphic tees, album artwork, urban poster campaigns, and skateboard graphics where an authentic edge is essential.

The dingbat weights function as standalone design assets rather than passive decorations. They excel in sticker collections, zine layouts, and music event branding situations where real cultural grounding matters more than polish. Tattoo artists and streetwear designers return to them repeatedly for building visual language systems that feel anchored in actual street practice rather than generic digital styling. The weight progression across the family lets you dial in the aggression level for any composition, whether you're making a single bold statement or stacking multiple marks to create dense, layered texture. Each option carries genuine visual personality instead of feeling like cosmetic variation.
