Picture yourself designing merch for a metal band or creating a horror movie poster. You need a typeface that hits hard and feels dangerous, which is exactly what Vampire Hunters, the blackletter font by Dansdesign, was engineered to do. Its letters are sharp and jagged, appearing hand-scratched or torn, which gives any design immediate threat and visual presence.

Across multiple applications, this typeface shines: horror and Halloween design work, custom tattoo lettering, band logos and album artwork, punk rock t-shirt graphics, and vintage-style horror book covers. The distressed character of each letter maintains readability even at large display sizes, and the weight carries across merchandise tags, event posters, digital artwork, and print applications without losing its edge. This is a blackletter with personality, designed for anyone working in music, fashion, entertainment, or alternative design spaces where attitude matters.

The blackletter foundation gives Vampire Hunters classical weight and presence, while Dansdesign stripped away the ornamental fussiness to leave something raw and contemporary. It performs with consistent impact across posters, merch, album covers, and digital assets. The result is a typeface that feels intentionally crafted rather than generic.
