Universo reaches back to 1950s modernism with a retro-futuristic sensibility that feels equally at home in vintage scientific journals and contemporary design practice. Created by Mauro Andrés and PeGGO Fonts, this display typeface draws from the geometric boldness of Aldo Novarese's work, capturing that era's optimistic graphic language with a sharp contemporary edge. Both stencil and standard versions give you flexibility for cut materials, layered compositions, or direct typographic applications.

Built for editorial projects and branding work, Universo performs well on concert posters, magazine mastheads, album covers, and independent fanzine layouts. The six styles and full range of OpenType alternates mean you can dial in the right character for your project, from anchoring a page with a single bold headline to building a complete visual system. You can use the stencil version for product labels, vinyl cutting work, and graphic design that demands tactile texture and visual weight. Each version preserves that retro-scientific sensibility throughout.

Designers drawn to print culture and retro aesthetics will connect with this typeface, from punk and indie scenes to thoughtful editorial work. Grab it on Creative Fabrica and access the full suite of styles and alternates.
