This font radiates warmth and genuine approachability. Square by Pukka De is a slab serif with a distinctly friendly personality that sits comfortably between formal and playful without leaning too hard in either direction.

The chunky, rounded letterforms work beautifully for greeting card suites, especially those paired with hand-drawn illustrations or botanical elements that reward a softer touch. Small business owners love it for product label design on handmade goods: think artisanal coffee roasters or indie candle brands looking for something less corporate than typical sans-serifs. It's equally at home on children's book covers and packaging, where that gentle, approachable quality really shines through to young readers. DIY craft labels and vinyl decal designs benefit from the font's strong readability even at smaller sizes, making it a natural favorite for makers and hobbyists. Restaurants and cafes often reach for it when designing menu boards and signage, since it carries enough personality to stand out while remaining accessible and easy to read in both digital and print formats. The consistent weight and rounded corners give it a modern sensibility that doesn't feel trendy or dated.
