Sorangan, created by brahamb78, brings slab serifs into the contemporary design landscape with blocky, geometric letterforms that hold real visual weight. The typeface abandons the gentility of traditional serif design in favor of something more graphic and architectural. Its personality registers immediately: commanding without being clumsy, keeping legibility intact even at large display sizes or in web contexts where type gets pushed hard.

Its sturdy construction translates fluidly across applications: coffee shop menus and interior signage, artisan cosmetics labels and packaging that needs to land on a crowded shelf, restaurant branding systems where typography carries real weight. The type finds natural homes in editorial work as well, from book covers and chapter headings to wedding invitations and event programs. For digital projects, Sorangan excels as banner text, dashboard typography, or any component where you want the type itself to be a significant design element without compromising legibility.

This is the typeface for designers and brands building identity systems that need real character and voice, or for anyone ready to move past the typefaces everyone defaults to. Any designer who understands the power of assertive letterforms will recognize this as an essential library addition. You can find it on Creative Fabrica.
