Sectra Chrome from Alit Design is a blackletter that takes gothic letterforms and infuses them with sharp, polished chrome aesthetics. The strokes are intricate and precisely drawn, with serifs and terminals that function like metal studs. This isn't historical blackletter revived for nostalgia; it's contemporary blackletter with attitude.

The 930+ glyph set includes four stylistic sets that transform standard letterforms into heavily ornamental alternates (chrome fractals, circular frames, decorative swashes). You can toggle between a cleaner, more readable version for headlines and more elaborate character swaps for logos or display work, mixing regular and ornamental letterforms in the same word depending on the visual weight you need. Language support extends well beyond English, so international branding projects are well within reach.

You'll find this fitting naturally into heavy metal and trap album covers, streetwear brand logos and back graphics, gaming title sequences for dark fantasy or sci-fi worlds, and luxury fashion branding that needs an unapologetically distinctive mark. The comprehensive glyph library and multiple styling sets make it ideal for designers who want to customize extensively without drawing letterforms from scratch.
