Pacific Tiger is equipped with several OpenType features. Contextual Alternates help maintain smooth connections between certain character combinations and are automatically activated. Additionally, it offers a wide of Swash, Stylistic, and Titling Alternates for alternative uppercase characters and ampersand. There are also Swash terminals for every lowercase character.
Moreover, there is a set of initial ornament shapes that can be combined with lowercase i, j, m, n, p, r, s, x, and z. These shapes are set in Titling Alternates for 0-6 and a set of terminal shapes in 7-9 and exclam and question. There is also a set of ornamental swooshes in Swash Alternates for 0-9, question and exclam. These shapes complement the designs made with Pacific Tiger.
Furthermore, Pacific Tiger offers a wide selection of lowercase t set in Stylistic Sets 1-9 and in Swash, Stylistic, and Titling Alternates.
Pacific Tiger is derived from Pacific Coast - having more volume and more upright characters, as well as some different design choices.
