NeuAltisch by Ingrimayne Type is a calligraphic blackletter that takes the formal weight of Fraktur and softens it with rounded letterforms. This approach lands somewhere between traditional and contemporary, giving you a typeface that reads as historical without feeling stuffy. The gentle curves set it apart from more rigid gothic styles, making it versatile for work that needs both character and legibility.

Applications for this one are pretty specific. Wedding invitation suites work particularly well, where the formality reads right but the rounder shapes keep it from feeling dated. Menu covers for fine dining establishments pair nicely with its decorative nature. You'd use it for ornate certificate work, vintage-style labels for craft beverages, or even luxury beauty product packaging where you want that heritage feel. The two weights give you real flexibility in setting hierarchy without switching typefaces.

The technical side is where this gets interesting. Beyond the main weights, you get shadowed and striped versions that are deconstructed. This means you can layer them separately to build color and dimension without needing tricks in design software. That's particularly useful if you're working in print or building dimensional effects for screen work. Find NeuAltisch on Creative Fabrica and try those layering combinations on a real project.
