Morine, designed by Pukka De, features robust slab serifs with distinctly rounded edges and a geometric warmth that avoids feeling either too rigid or too childish. The letterforms balance playfulness with legibility, their chunky proportions and friendly character making them instantly recognizable without sacrificing professionalism.

This slab serif excels in contexts where a brand needs personality and approachability. Use it for coffee shop menus and signage, wedding invitation suites where elegance meets whimsy, Etsy product labels for handmade jewelry or ceramics, DIY craft shop window displays, greeting card lettering, and children's book cover design. The font's contemporary slab structure reads fresh rather than nostalgic, which means it pairs well with both modern minimalist layouts and slightly more ornamental design approaches. Boutique beauty brands, independent bookstores, and small food labels all benefit from Morine's particular flavor of friendliness.

What makes Morine particularly useful is how it maintains legibility and impact at various sizes, from headlines to label text, without requiring weight variations. Designers wanting to signal approachability and craft sensibility in a single typeface often find exactly what they need here. The warmth it conveys works especially well for small independent businesses and makers seeking to communicate personality without sacrificing sophistication. Morine suits any creative working to build genuine personality into their visual identity. Find it on Creative Fabrica.
