You're designing merchandise for an underground metal band, and you need type that reads as heavy and intentional from the first glance. Morguem Vanguard, designed by CraftedType Studio, is a blackletter font with distinct hand-drawn character that perfectly nails this particular aesthetic without veering into parody. The raw, aggressive letterforms carry genuine visual weight: this is the kind of typeface that works equally well on an album cover or a merchandise patch.

Band logos and dark branding are where this font really shines. It handles t-shirt graphics with impressive confidence, works beautifully on concert posters and tour announcements, and brings real presence to horror-themed packaging and occult design work. The slightly irregular edges give each letter a human touch, which keeps the brutalist severity from feeling sterile or cold. Apparel designers often reach for this when they're aiming for that intersection of extreme aesthetics and actual wearability.

This typeface works beautifully at large display sizes without losing its presence, which matters when you're printing on merchandise or social media graphics. Grab it on Creative Fabrica and start bringing those darker creative visions to life.
