Imagine designing the packaging for an artisanal holiday chocolate collection, or hand-lettering gift tags for a specialty gift shop, or creating a bold poster for a seasonal craft market. You'd want a typeface with real presence and personality, and Merry Happy, designed by Riman of 7NTypes, delivers exactly that combination of visual weight and warmth.

This slab serif stands out for its bold, chunky serifs paired with generously proportioned letterforms that make every word feel confident and grounded. The design creates instant visual impact without sacrificing legibility, making it particularly effective in contexts where both playfulness and clarity matter equally. It excels at holiday gift labels, seasonal greeting card collections, special occasion invitations, and storefront window displays. The weight holds up beautifully at large display sizes, and the broad characters remain perfectly readable even when scaled down for specialty product packaging or small-format applications.

Merry Happy shines because it works equally well in formal and casual contexts. You could use it for an upscale holiday branding campaign just as easily as for a hand-assembled greeting card series or craft fair poster. There's inherent warmth in the letterforms, but nothing forced or overly cute about it. Grab Merry Happy on Creative Fabrica and bring this character-rich slab serif into your next seasonal project.
