You're designing labels for a small pottery brand, and you need type that feels genuinely handmade yet reads with instant clarity across different sizes. Melvint, created by designer Pukka De, is a slab serif that delivers exactly this balance. The typeface's chunky serifs and geometric weight give each letter substantial presence without sacrificing legibility, making it a workhorse for designs that need both warmth and readability.

This display font shines on handmade product labels, rustic cafe menu boards, DIY craft signage, and boutique skincare packaging, where approachable formality strengthens the overall impression. It performs equally well on greeting card suites and informal wedding stationery, where a solid slab serif brings instant character without feeling overly corporate or formal. On smaller scales like notebook covers and product stickers, Melvint remains clear and inviting, proving that chunky letterforms don't have to overwhelm a layout to make their presence known.

What makes this typeface stand out is how cleanly and confidently it renders at large display sizes without ever feeling clunky. The balanced proportions mean you can set it prominently and let it anchor your entire composition. Grab it from Creative Fabrica and explore what this typeface brings to your next design project.
