This slab serif strikes the right balance between approachable and distinctive, without ever feeling soft or compromised. Mckenzie, designed by Pukka De, works best in settings where you need genuine warmth without sacrificing clarity. The font's even strokes and rounded terminals give it a contemporary feel that's still grounded in classic serif tradition, making it feel both modern and thoroughly trustworthy in equal measure.

Its versatility shines across several real-world contexts: wedding invitation suites with genuine personality, hand-lettered product labels for artisanal brands, rustic menu design for cafes and restaurants, DIY craft signage where character matters as much as legibility, and greeting card layouts that need a spark of unexpected charm. The typeface feels equally at home on a small-batch skincare label as it does in large headline settings, making it a reliable choice for designers who juggle multiple project types and shift between vastly different client briefs and aesthetic directions throughout their work.

For the best results, pair Mckenzie with a clean, geometric sans-serif for body copy. The tonal contrast keeps layouts readable while letting the slab serif anchor your design with genuine character and visual presence. You'll find Mckenzie on Creative Fabrica, ready to bring warmth and distinction to whatever you design next.
