You're designing a coffee roastery's complete identity, from custom bag labels to the storefront sign, when you realize you need a typeface with real grit and character. Margay, designed by moonlight craft, is built for exactly this kind of work. This handwritten slab-serif doesn't apologize for its personality, bringing boldness and genuine warmth to every application.

The font shines across specialty coffee packaging, craft brewery logos, DIY wedding invitation suites, and independent bookstore signage where standing out matters more than blending in. Enough presence lives in this typeface to anchor a bold poster or serve as a logo wordmark. Product labels, restaurant menus, and vintage-style event materials all benefit from its warmth. Slab-serif structure keeps everything grounded while the handwritten quality prevents coldness or corporate sterility from creeping in.

Margay's single weight delivers confident, punchy results without requiring you to hunt through multiple file formats. At large sizes it commands immediate attention as a headline or focal point, and at smaller scales it retains its distinctive character without becoming cluttered or hard to read. The balance between structured slab-serif framework and handwritten personality makes it rare among display fonts. Find it on Creative Fabrica and add it to your next project that deserves genuine substance.
