Malia by Pukka De is a contemporary slab serif with warm, approachable geometry that feels modern without sacrificing genuine personality. Its crisp geometric logic pairs well with rounded friendliness in the serifs, giving it real flexibility across both display and text scales. The typeface holds strong personality at headline size and doesn't flatten when you set it smaller, making it useful for far more than just decorative applications or display work.

Where Malia earns its place is in projects that need both confidence and warmth in equal measure. Wedding invitation suites benefit from its refined sensibility without becoming stiff or formal. Restaurant menus and café branding feel intentional and curated. Boutique skincare packaging and handmade craft labels take on the small-batch quality customers have learned to trust. Event stationery, greeting cards, and editorial headlines all work naturally in this typeface. You can also build logotypes and identity systems around Malia, especially for businesses wanting to feel established without corporate rigidity.

The typeface packs a comprehensive character set with solid language support, so you'll have the flexibility to work internationally without running into limitations. Its proportions and geometry work equally well at small sizes and large display scales.
