Picture a vintage cocktail menu or a luxury cosmetics label where the lettering has real personality and charm. That's the space where Lager, designed by Fenotype, immediately feels at home. This script draws directly from the warmth of mid-1900s American commercial lettering, yet brings a modern technical edge that makes it genuinely practical to use in contemporary work.

What sets Lager apart is its Intelligent Swash feature, which automatically expands and stretches swashes based on the specific letters you choose. This means you get authentic handmade variation without having to manually adjust each letterform. Paired with a solid set of ligatures and stylistic alternates (check the Titling Alternates option in your OpenType menu), the font handles boutique product packaging, vintage-style band posters, craft brewery labels, and wedding invitation suites with equal grace. There's a real handwritten texture here, but it stays legible even when pushed to large sizes.

The five weights, two numeral sets, and small caps companion give you genuine flexibility across different layouts and typography scenarios. For full identity systems or individual labels, Lager scales beautifully without losing its character. Pick it up on Creative Fabrica and see how it transforms your next project.
