Kolinova carries the weight and mystery of gothic lettering while maintaining a distinctly modern sensibility. Created by madeDeduk, this blackletter typeface trades the rigid stiffness of medieval manuscripts for something more theatrical and approachable. The bold, sweeping strokes pair beautifully with intricate ornamental details that catch light, making it equally striking at large headline scales or delicate at smaller sizes.

Use Kolinova for high-end wedding invitations where formality is paramount, vintage-inspired book covers that command attention, boutique logo designs for heritage brands, dramatic fashion lookbooks, or even specialty coffee roaster packaging. A generous set of ligatures and alternate characters means you can customize the personality of individual letters to match your specific vision. Single letterpress monograms or sprawling display headlines both benefit from these alternatives, offering flexibility that feels intentional rather than templated.

Pair Kolinova with a restrained serif or lean sans-serif for body text to keep reading comfortable while the blackletter commands your visual hierarchy. The typeface translates beautifully across print and digital surfaces, from artisan whiskey branding to tattoo design inspiration boards. You'll find it on Creative Fabrica, ready to add that distinctive gothic-but-contemporary edge to your next project.
