There's a certain darkness to this typeface, theatrical and brooding without leaning too hard into pure history. Kolinova, designed by madeDeduk, is a blackletter typeface that bridges medieval formality and contemporary branding work.

The letterforms have real character and presence. Heavy strokes intersect with fine serifs, creating visual texture that draws the eye, and the alternates give you flexibility for crafting everything from luxury cosmetics packaging to book covers for gothic fiction to vintage-inspired band merchandise. Tattoo flash designs and craft brewery labels benefit from the typeface's authentic period feel, too. The technical foundation is solid: ligatures for refined letter pairs, extensive international glyph support across multiple languages, and files in both standard formats (OTF, TTF) and web-optimized versions (WOFF, WOFF2). You can use it for websites or print layouts without worry.

Pair Kolinova with a crisp, minimal sans-serif for body text to let the blackletter headline work breathe and command attention. The contrast between ornate and clean creates visual hierarchy that feels right at any scale. You can grab it on Creative Fabrica and start building something with real typographic depth.
