You're designing wedding invitations and realize the typography needs genuine personality without becoming overly ornate or difficult to read. Kellang Rika, created by Vunira, is a calligraphy typeface where each letter carries warmth and genuine friendliness while maintaining solid legibility. It balances handwritten authenticity with functional design, an approach that works equally well across digital and print applications.

The typeface proves its real value on artisanal product labels for small-batch skincare brands and specialty food packaging, where calligraphic lettering effectively communicates craftsmanship and authenticity to buyers. Greeting card designs, event signage, and social media graphics all work beautifully with its approachable letterforms and clear character shapes. Its consistent stroke weight stays legible even at larger display sizes, a practical quality often overlooked in script typefaces. What distinguishes Kellang Rika is this careful balance between genuine personality and actual usability, rather than pursuing visual appeal at the expense of real function. Most script fonts sacrifice legibility for aesthetics, but this one refuses to make that trade-off. Keep it in your regular rotation for projects where warmth matters.
