You're designing a whiskey label that needs to command shelf space, or maybe creating vintage band merchandise that feels genuinely worn and lived-in. Hold Money, created by Alit Design, is a blackletter typeface that answers that call with raw character and historical weight.

This typeface layers gothic structure with a deliberately roughed-up texture that reads as authentic rather than artificial. Its sharp, angular strokes and bold presence make it excellent for distillery and craft brewery branding, heritage packaging designs, and gothic wedding invitation suites. You'll find it equally strong on apparel graphics that call for that tattooed, gritty sensibility. The worn, textured quality shows up naturally in headlines and logos where a distressed edge adds instant credibility. Print or screen, the font maintains its edgy sophistication without losing legibility. Even at larger display sizes, where its rough details become a real focal point rather than muddying the letterforms, the weight stays readable and striking.

The distressed weight is where the magic happens: it keeps everything looking hand-crafted and intentional, not overwrought or amateur. Unlike slick revival typefaces, Hold Money feels like it was carved or stamped, not algorithmically generated. Grab it on Creative Fabrica and add some genuine old-world grit to your next branding challenge.
