This typeface straddles the boundary between graffiti-raw and design-refined. GROOTHAN MIXED comes from Brainwaves Studio as a display font that deliberately fuses crisp contemporary sans-serif geometry with the organic, rounded character of bubble lettering as you'd encounter it on train cars or city walls. It's a rare typeface that carries both structure and swagger in genuine measure.

What makes it work is restraint in execution. The letters are bold and dimensional without screaming for attention or feeling cartoonish. They sit solidly on the baseline and read immediately, even at smaller sizes, yet they retain that unmistakable hand-painted energy underneath. The alternate characters let you shift the feeling of individual words, trading polish for paint and pen when the design moment calls for it. That flexibility ensures you're not locked into one single personality or mood across a project.

Deploy it on music venue posters, skate and streetwear brand labels, youth-culture social media campaigns, and vinyl record artwork where edge matters as much as legibility. It brings character to gaming interfaces, podcast cover art, and music festival promotion without requiring you to shout louder than everything else competing for attention. A crisp, warm sans-serif serves as the natural partner for body text, allowing GROOTHAN MIXED to dominate headlines and key messaging. Source it from Creative Fabrica and give your work some genuine street-level credibility.
