You're designing a poster for a local racing event and need type that grabs attention from across a crowded venue. Fasten, created by Gassstype Studio, is a slab serif font built for exactly this kind of bold, high-impact work. Its chunky letterforms and confident stroke weight make it ideal for headlines and branding that needs to command a room without relying on decorative flourishes.

This font shines across motorsports event posters, athletic apparel hang tags, championship trophy designs, and fitness center signage. You'll find it works equally well for sports bar menu covers, racing team letterheads, and product labels designed for performance-focused brands. Magazine spreads benefit from its visual punch too, especially when you need contemporary typography that doesn't feel overwrought. Built with a sturdy slab serif structure, it delivers a modern edge without feeling trendy, reading as both professional and approachable across logos, printed promotional materials, and large-format displays that need to pop from a distance.

Fasten delivers both headline and display-body work thanks to generous spacing and rock-solid legibility at scale. The bold stroke weight maintains readability even at small sizes on packaging and labels, making it versatile for different applications.
