CS Savage by Craft Supply Co. is a blackletter display face built for designs that demand historical weight and ornate character. The font's sharp letterforms channel medieval manuscript aesthetics, making it ideal for period-correct band posters, vintage book cover designs, ornamental certificate artwork, and decorative invitations where authenticity matters. Each character carries that old-world density: thick strokes paired with delicate flourishes that read as both powerful and refined.

This font works particularly well when you're creating materials that need to feel established or deeply authoritative. Antique apothecary labels, gothic wedding invitation suites, and luxury heritage packaging all benefit from the dense, architectural quality of these letterforms. The ornate details are functional and structural rather than merely decorative, so the font performs effectively even when sized down for smaller applications or used in supporting text.

The deliberate heaviness of CS Savage sets it apart from lighter display fonts commonly seen in vintage work. Use it when you need typographic weight without resorting to oversized or stretched type, or when a single headline can carry the entire visual direction of a piece.
