“Courant” means “newspaper”.
The Courant font was modeled on 17th century Dutch newspapers and most of the glyphs are authentic. The ‘modern’ glyphs, like @, $, â¬, * and several others have been designed by me, as they were not in use in the 1600s.
How to Install Courant Font

- 1Download the Courant font file (.ttf or .otf).
- 2Locate the downloaded file in your Downloads folder.
- 3Right-click the font file.
- 4Select "Install" to install for the current user, or "Install for all users" to make it available system-wide.
- 5Courant is now available in Word, Photoshop, Illustrator, and all other apps.
