You're laying out a vintage wedding invitation suite and you need a serif typeface that works at headline sizes but feels genuinely distinctive, not something you've seen reproduced across dozens of other designs already. That's where Cordavia Bold Swash enters the picture. Designed by TonisArtStudio, this slab serif combines chunky, confident letterforms with decorative swashes that taper into small hearts, giving you real control over how much flourish each individual word carries across your layout.

The font truly shines in projects built on romantic but grounded letterforms: personalized coffee mug designs where the type needs to read clearly from arm's length across a table, DIY kraft paper gift labels for maker product packaging and boutique businesses, anniversary card suites with a hand-lettered feel, and framed quote prints for boutique home decor shops. The bold weight holds its own at large sizes without needing typographic tricks like all-caps shortcuts. You get the full character set, including swash alternates for individual letters so you can mix flourish and restraint within the same word or line, multilingual support for designs that cross language boundaries, and ligatures that smooth out awkward letter pair combinations.

The swash alternates give you control over how ornate each letter becomes, letting you dial the romanticism up or down as your design demands. Find Cordavia Bold Swash on Creative Fabrica.
