When you're setting body text for a hardcover novel or laying out a museum exhibition catalog, you want a serif that breathes on the page without feeling modern. Bookseller Cp Ample, designed by cyanotype, brings that quiet confidence. It's a Scotch Roman revival built for small-text work, with proportions spacious enough that line breaks feel natural even in narrow columns. The generous x-height and balanced stroke weight keep letters readable without requiring extra space between lines.

The font works well for historical document layouts, vintage book cover design, museum catalogs, and the editorial spreads that reference older typography. It includes small caps, old-style and lining figures, fractions, and Cyrillic support for projects that need broader language reach. The letterforms carry weight and substance without unnecessary ornament, which keeps manuscript-inspired designs readable instead of precious or affected. This balance of formality and warmth makes it equally at home in art books and literary fiction.

At caption sizes and in dense body copy, this serif doesn't tire the eye. Its solid forms handle both formal publishing projects and the retro aesthetic that appeals to designers working with Etsy vintage reprints and independent press layouts. Pick it up on Creative Fabrica.
