Blackfang hits hard: it's the typeface designers reach for when a design needs to feel genuinely menacing. Created by BILLI, this blackletter display font strips away refinement in favor of raw, jagged letterforms that look like they're bleeding or dripping at the edges. The distorted construction makes every word read as a warning, which is exactly what dark branding demands. Nothing about it whispers; everything here shouts.

You'll find it working across horror movie posters and grindhouse-style packaging, where its aggressive character adds weight to every title. Band merchandise and album artwork gain instant credibility from its gothic, unsettling energy. Music festival promotions, Halloween party invitations, and tattoo-inspired apparel graphics all benefit from the typeface's intentional imperfection and raw visual power. Streaming platform artwork for dark comedy and horror productions also comes alive with this font. The letterforms are deliberately rough and distressed, with irregular breaks and bleeding edges that signal genuine menace without requiring explanation.

Pair Blackfang with a clean, modern sans-serif whenever you need readable body copy: this balanced approach keeps the dark edge while maintaining full legibility for longer passages. Available in OTF format, it brings the real darkness to your project library on Creative Fabrica.
