Picture designing a vintage concert poster for an underground metal band or crafting a label for artisanal whiskey. Better Silent, designed by Putra from 7NTypes, is built for exactly these moments. This blackletter font pulls from medieval and old English roots, then adds the edgy swagger of 80s and 90s aesthetics to create something that sits comfortably in gothic, dark academia, and tattoo lettering worlds.

The font's ornamental swash details give it visual weight without sacrificing readability, even at large sizes. It works beautifully for vintage metal band posters, craft whiskey labels, dark academia merchandise designs, and gothic-inspired tattoo lettering. The calligraphic structure adds authentic character while the blackletter framework keeps it grounded and legible. You can rely on it for clothing line branding with an underground edge, Cricut projects that demand attention, or any design where typography carries the full weight of your message.

Rock band tees, vintage poster work, Halloween event designs, ornate branding for boutique goods, tattoo flash sheets, craft labels of all kinds... Better Silent handles all of them. The swash elements give you flexibility in how bold or ornate you want to go with each application. Add it to your library on Creative Fabrica and invest in a font with real character.
