Acto Stripe by heypentype is a bold color display font that brings authentic 1970s sensibility into contemporary design work. The striped pattern and vibrant color palette create an immediate retro atmosphere without feeling like kitsch or nostalgia overdone. The clean geometry underneath prevents it from tipping into pastiche, which is actually harder to pull off than you'd think. You'll find this especially useful for vintage concert posters, boutique merchandise labels, party invitation suites, and retro-themed branding projects where that throwback aesthetic feels genuine rather than forced.

Since it's a color font built as SVG, your designs render vibrant and eye-catching straight out of the box, which matters a lot for sublimated apparel work and print-on-demand graphics where you need reliable color reproduction. Place it across product packaging, craft signage, or display advertising and the bold character cuts through visual clutter with authority. The playful personality comes through clearly at any scale, though it really rewards larger applications where you can appreciate the stripe details and let the stripes breathe. If you regularly work with vintage-inspired products or retro merchandise design, this font handles the whole aesthetic without demanding major design workarounds.
