Frisia by heypentype is a playful script color font that combines hand-drawn charm with a vintage-inspired palette of warm, muted tones. The letterforms have that loose, organic quality you get when real handwriting meets careful print design, natural but refined. Each character carries its own layered hues that work together to create visual depth and movement without ever feeling busy or overstimulated. It's the kind of font that adds character to a layout simply by existing.

This font shines brightest in projects where personality and authenticity matter most. Think children's book covers, hand-lettered thank-you cards, themed birthday invitations, and craft fair signage, all spaces where its approachable energy becomes a genuine asset rather than decoration. It works equally well on product labels for boutique goods or as the centerpiece of a greeting card design that needs to stand out. Since Frisia is an OpenType-SVG color font, the color layers are embedded directly into the file itself, so you'll see the full effect in Adobe apps, Inkscape, and most modern design software. Just check compatibility with your specific tool before you commit to a big project.
