Spooky-meets-playful energy fills every letterform. Wednesdayarmy Zigzag Font by Army Custom is a color typeface designed to bring Halloween personality to any project, with chunky, hand-drawn glyphs wrapped in five distinct pattern fills that each bring their own visual character. The patterns range from floral shapes and stitching on a soft lavender background, to painterly vertical stripes in teal and magenta, alternating yellow and purple diagonals, bold black and purple verticals for an eerie edge, and a purple-and-yellow chevron zigzag pattern on lavender. Black "stitch" details unify all five styles visually while keeping the overall effect playful rather than purely spooky.

This one works beautifully for Halloween party invitations, October social media graphics, seasonal greeting card designs, and playful t-shirt artwork. The OTF format is compatible with Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 and Illustrator CC 2018 and newer. Included PNG files expand compatibility to software that doesn't natively support color fonts, so you're never locked out of using it.

Pair it with a clean, light sans-serif for contrast when you need accompanying body copy, or let the font carry headlines entirely on its own. Both approaches work without the design feeling disjointed. Pick it up on Creative Fabrica and start designing with real character.
