Shantuya captures the spontaneous, gestural feel of handwritten letterforms without sacrificing legibility or refinement. Designed by Gatype, this script font balances casual warmth with polish, staying approachable while keeping enough personality to stand out clearly on the page. The letters flow naturally and expressively, working equally well as a standalone title treatment or layered over busy backgrounds and complex imagery.

The font includes extensive character coverage: uppercase and lowercase letters, complete numerals, symbols, accents, swashes and ligatures that add visual richness and dimensional quality to any layout. Both TTF and OTF formats are included, with multilingual support built in for global use. This flexibility makes Shantuya at home on wedding invitation suites, custom product labels for small businesses, hand-lettered greeting cards, boutique skincare packaging, and DIY craft sign projects. It performs equally well as a headline over textured surfaces and photography, and works just as effectively as a refined accent letter pairing alongside serif typefaces in editorial and print layouts.

Designers looking for a script that feels genuinely handmade rather than mechanically produced should consider Shantuya for projects that call for genuine warmth and character. Find it on Creative Fabrica, where you can add it to your growing design toolkit.
