Royal Imperial from Blankids Studio is a slab-serif typeface built on thick vertical strokes and substantial serifs that anchor each letterform with genuine presence and weight. Unlike typical vintage serifs, this one has chunky, deliberate proportions engineered to command attention at display sizes without losing legibility in headlines and logotypes where clarity matters most.

Contexts that call for retro authority naturally suit this typeface: vintage band logos, retro sports team graphics, independent bookstore signage, and record label branding all benefit from its weighty character. Tattoo flash designs respond particularly well to the bold lineweight and classic letterforms. For packaging design, especially where that vintage-meets-strong aesthetic needs to cut through crowded retail shelves and catch the eye, this is a solid choice. Wedding invitation suites with a bold, classic slant can also tap into the typeface's strength. Pair it with minimal photography or illustration and you get work that reads as both timeless and intentional, standing out without feeling overwrought.

Best suited for creative studios, independent brands, and designers building visual identities that skew toward the classical and authoritative. You'll find Royal Imperial on Creative Fabrica, ready to bring weight and character to your next display project.
