Rastogas is a brush script from Gatype that perfectly captures the authentic feel of hand-painted letterforms. The letters sit tightly together, which allows the natural variations and irregularities of brushwork to remain visible rather than getting smoothed away in the digitization process. You'll notice that strong contrast between bold, fully opaque strokes and thinner, more delicate transparent lines. That interplay is what gives hand-painted type its distinctive personality and makes it read as genuinely human rather than computer-generated.

What really works here is how naturally this script fits into real design applications where handmade quality matters. Brand identity systems benefit from that raw, energetic feeling when you want to convey authenticity and genuine craft. Small-batch product packaging for artisan goods, wedding invitations designed with care and personality, edgy fashion graphics, social media posts, DIY craft labels, indie music posters, and boutique cosmetics branding all gain visual interest from this typeface. The tight spacing keeps your compositions feeling cohesive even when you're working with short headlines or compact text, making it versatile across different layout situations and contexts.

Grab Rastogas if you're building a brand or design project that needs to feel personal and intentional rather than templated. It's available on Creative Fabrica.
