Picture yourself designing a haunted-house promotional poster or indie game tileset that needs type with genuine bite. Pixelcraft Poltergeist, created by Illustration Ink, is a full-color pixel font where bats and spiders become part of the letterforms themselves, giving you that instant retro-spooky aesthetic without feeling forced or over-the-top.

The typeface shines in Halloween sticker sheets, indie game asset design, spooky podcast cover art, and haunted attraction signage. Being vector-based, it scales cleanly to any size without degradation, so you can stretch it across large event posters or shrink it down for small label work. Inside the font are alternate character sets you can access through your system's character map. This lets you swap between different color combinations of the same letters, giving you flexibility to adapt the palette to your specific project mood and existing color schemes.

The color palette is baked into every letter, so plan accordingly when layering this type over backgrounds and other design elements. Adobe Creative Suite, Silhouette Studio, Inkscape, and Quark all render these SVG color fonts correctly, but in programs lacking SVG support, the type will display in solid black. Test your specific software before committing to a major layout. Grab Pixelcraft Poltergeist on Creative Fabrica and add some pixel-perfect Halloween energy to your next project.
