Mortberg by Typia Nesia is a hand-drawn slab serif with a genuinely weathered look, built for designs that demand real personality without apology. The typeface has textured strokes and intentional imperfections that give it weight and presence, making it particularly effective for whiskey labels, craft brewery branding, outdoor adventure guides and hiking signage, rustic café identity systems, and vintage Western event posters where the type itself carries the visual load. The condensed proportions keep things efficient while rough edges make every word feel substantial and tactile.

A lot of fonts chase that vintage appeal but land somewhere derivative; this one commits entirely to the gritty, unselfconscious aesthetic you see on old Western signage and weathered outdoor ephemera from decades past. That kind of conviction is evident in every letter. Available across multiple weights, the typeface gives you real flexibility for different applications without sacrificing the raw character and textured feel that makes it distinctive. It's the kind of typeface that works harder than purely decorative display fonts, anchoring designs with genuine substance instead of empty novelty. This is a font for designers who know that authenticity matters more than trends. If your next project needs type that feels earned rather than applied, Mortberg deserves a closer look on Creative Fabrica.
