Moonshore - A Magical Folklore and Fantasy Font

Inspired by classic English mysticism and folklore, Moonshore is a font deeply rooted in the ancient traditions of magic, nature, and children’s stories that warn of the dangers lurking within those far-off dark woods.

Moonshore lives at the crossroads of nature, science, and the paranormal. Inspired by writers who explored the mysteries surrounding occult sites like Stonehenge, or new recording technology that might just capture a spectral image within the walls of an ancient castle. As October approaches and the nights draw in, it’s the perfect font for telling fire-side stories and indulging in some cosy Yuletide gothic.

The Moonshore font family comes in eight styles, each with a complete uppercase and lowercase alphabet, along with numerals, punctuation, and language support. There’s an all-caps alternative, plus decorative variants starting with what I call the ‘seeds’ in three styles, and then the ‘flower’. All of which add up to a fun-to-use font with endless creative options.

Whether it’s Autumn or Winter, Halloween or Christmas, Moonshore offers something for the storytellers among us, adding a visual flair to book covers, title designs, editorials, magic potions, or maybe even an ale or two.
