You're working on an athletic department's merchandise line or designing packaging for a heritage bourbon brand. Modern Lecture, a bold slab serif created by riki.studio, brings varsity confidence into contemporary design. As a display font, it combines structural clarity with readable proportions that work at any scale, from large signage down to small apparel tags.

Universities turn to Modern Lecture for graduation invitation suites, diploma stationery, and yearbook spreads. Sports departments use it for conference branding and athletic apparel labels. Designers working on heritage-themed book covers, magazine editorial spreads, and boutique product packaging value its direct presence and the confidence of its letterforms. The typeface doesn't need extra ornament to command attention on a page or screen. Its slab serif structure keeps every letter stable and distinct, whether embroidered at small sizes or displayed large.

The bold weight makes this font work across contexts. It stays readable on small apparel labels and packaging tags while still carrying genuine authority. The proportions feel current despite the slab structure, giving you a serif that balances contemporary design with authoritative presence.
