This typeface brings the sharp, clean clarity of industrial design into every letterform. Mirano Extended, created by unio.creativesolutions, pulls from mid-century geometric sans-serifs and thoroughly reimagines the visual language of precision automotive brands with a distinctly contemporary edge and a wider, more expansive physical presence.

The family spans Light through Bold, with each weight paired with a true italic that maintains the same mechanical drive and forward momentum of the roman characters. It finds its strongest application in work that needs both presence and control: automotive brand identities and marketing systems, upscale product packaging and luxury labels, contemporary design frameworks and system components, and editorial spreads that demand scale and structural stability. The geometric foundation holds everything together visually, while the expanded proportions and refined stroke rhythm avoid the flatness that can undermine geometric typefaces.

Loaded with professional OpenType intelligence (ligatures, stylistic sets, case variants, and positional numerals), Mirano hands designers genuine flexibility in how the typeface performs and behaves across different materials, surfaces, and digital contexts. Combine it with a warm serif or understated humanist sans for body copy to let the extended weights do their work in headlines and display usage. It's available now on Creative Fabrica.
