This typeface channels a distinctly retro swagger. Mie Lobak, created by Maulana Creative, is a slab serif with the visual weight and irreverent character of 70s studio graphics. The letters pack serious personality into their bold geometry, with thick serifs and generous proportions that make every word stop the eye. There's a warmth to the design that feels intentional, not accidental: the kind of typeface that thrives when you're not playing it safe.

Built for vintage concert poster design, groovy record label typography, nostalgic diner signage, and funky logo treatments that celebrate their own absurdity, this font also includes a full set of alternate characters. You can swap out letterforms mid-word for visual texture, and multilingual support covers most global languages, giving you room to work across different markets. Real flexibility comes from those alternates: you can present repeated text differently or mix character weights for a layered, handmade feeling. This is the typeface you return to when you need confidence and wit in the same breath.

Pair Mie Lobak with a clean, neutral sans-serif for body copy or smaller text, and the contrast between them becomes visual rhythm rather than distraction. The pairing also gives readers a moment to rest between the bold and the quiet. You'll find it on Creative Fabrica when you're ready to add that particular disco-era punch to your next project.
