Mallona has that rare quality of feeling both ornate and readable at once, striking a balance between decorative flourish and genuine usefulness. Designed by Bexx Type, this flowing script brings personality and warmth to any project where you want craft sensibility to shine, without sacrificing clarity.

The swashes are the real story here, and they're what make Mallona sing for wedding invitation suites with matching envelope designs, custom business card designs for handmade brands and creative studios, hand-lettered journal covers for stationery collections, and product labels for small-batch cosmetics or artisan food producers. The character set includes multiple alternate letterforms and stylistic variations for each letter, so you can layer flourishes, adjust the visual weight of individual characters, and build hierarchy within a single word without reaching for another typeface. This flexibility means Mallona adapts to your vision rather than forcing you to adapt to it.

When you need body copy or supporting text, pair this with a clean sans-serif that has a similar weight and mood, and your layout will feel intentional and cohesive. You'll find Mallona on Creative Fabrica, ready to download and add to your growing type collection.
