You're designing a collection of seasonal greeting cards or laying out the pages of a handmade planner, and you need a typeface that feels genuinely handwritten without sacrificing readability across different sizes. Layout Cheerful, created by CraftedType Studio, delivers exactly that kind of approachable, warmly crafted character that makes work feel personal rather than templated. This slab serif carries distinctive personality, with letterforms that look like they came straight from a designer's pen rather than a corporate template library.

The font excels on autumn-themed planner spreads, recipe card collections, and small batch product labels where the handcrafted aesthetic directly speaks to your audience's values. As a secondary typeface for boutique branding projects, it brings just the right amount of warmth without overwhelming the rest of your visual system. Print-on-demand KDP book interiors, seasonal card suites, and iPad lettering projects all benefit from its friendly character and readable proportions. Multiple weights give you genuine flexibility for establishing hierarchy without hunting for another typeface entirely.

Spacing and proportions hold steady at any size, keeping the font readable on product labels and display headlines alike. Grab Layout Cheerful on Creative Fabrica to add this warmth to your next design project.
