For all the programmers out there! This is a custom bootleg monospace version of Comic Sans called Koomik Mono. We incorporated a three-step process to create the typeface:
1) The original characters were manually squeezed to fit the uniform 600-point monospace letter width.
2) The character set was then printed out and optically adjusted by hand to achieve consistent thickness of the letterforms, and occasional serifs were added.
3) The adjusted character set was scanned back in and digitally retraced in Illustrator and compiled in Glyphs, resulting in a completely redrawn typeface, yet still recognizably Comic Sans.
