There's something warm and personal about handwriting that feels like a direct conversation with the reader. Katrine Font, designed by Subectype, brings that intimate quality to elegant, confident letterforms. The thick strokes have presence without feeling heavy, and the overall character lands somewhere between classic and contemporary, which is harder to achieve than it sounds.

This script excels at wedding invitation suites where personality matters as much as formality, luxury beauty product labels that want to feel crafted rather than mass-produced, custom greeting card designs with real charm, and DIY craft projects like embroidered monograms or hand-lettered social media graphics. The handwritten quality gives it versatility across different contexts while maintaining genuine sophistication. You can use it for event signage, boutique packaging, or anywhere you need that human touch that's somehow still polished. The confident letterforms hold their own in larger sizes without looking juvenile.

Pair Katrine with a clean, minimal sans-serif for supporting text or smaller sizes to keep everything readable. That contrast between the script's personality and the sans-serif's restraint creates a balanced, professional look. It's available now on Creative Fabrica, ready to bring a personal edge to your next project.
