About Janice Font
After making Jimi, the proverbial classic rock poster font, we needed to create another psychedelic font, but this time including a set of lowercase letters. We named it Janice, after Janice Joplin, the popular American 1960s singer and perfect example of hippie spirit.
The idea for Janice is from an early 1970s photo type sample that was eating dust on the study’s shelves.
This font is quite useful not only for reliving the classic rock era, but also for any fun headlines or children book covers.
