Brush strokes that feel organic and hand-drawn rather than mechanical define Hokyaa, a script font from Locomotype. The letterforms carry natural weight variation and flow, bringing authentic hand-lettered qualities to your digital work without requiring any lettering background. Its companion clean sans serif means you can pair a flowing, expressive script with straightforward text without hunting for complementary typefaces that actually work together.

Both the script and sans come in standard and pressed versions, giving you options to add subtle textured character to your designs. The script side is rich with alternates, ligatures, and swashes, letting you swap letterforms and create natural variety within single words, building polished lettering even without formal calligraphic training. Language support is comprehensive and everything is properly Unicode mapped so it works reliably for international projects and markets.

Use Hokyaa for wedding invitation suites, boutique product labels on Etsy, packaging and branding work that needs genuine warmth, and custom merchandise designs. The pairing of script and sans means you'll have both sophistication and breathing room when you need to mix expressive letterforms with straightforward information. It's the kind of font that works across client types and project categories. Pick it up on Creative Fabrica whenever you're ready.
