Hickery strikes that rare balance between rough edges and refined letterforms, giving your work a distinctly handcrafted feel. Created by Letterhend Studio, Hickery is a stencil script that brings both personality and polish to projects needing more than generic elegance or predictable flourishes.

Stencil scripts work particularly well for DIY wedding invitation suites, vintage cosmetics packaging, high-end product labels for small-batch goods, and craft brewery branding and identity work. This font's slightly distressed quality reads as intentional and sophisticated rather than sloppy, which makes it equally suited for fashion lookbooks as it is for artisanal product packaging. Hickery includes uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, punctuation, alternates, and ligatures all encoded for OpenType features, with solid multilingual support so your work extends beyond English.

To maximize what Hickery offers, open it in software like Adobe Creative Suite or Corel Draw where you can access the full glyph panel and toggle between alternates with ease. This flexibility lets you swap in swash variations and ligatures that give each project its own custom feel. Pair it with a clean, minimal sans-serif for body text to let the stencil script shine without overwhelming readers. Grab it on Creative Fabrica and start building work that genuinely needs real character.
