You're laying out a wedding invitation suite and need something that feels personal without looking amateurish. Hedgehog, designed by Polem, is a script font with a distinctive character that bridges that gap between handmade charm and professional polish. Its flowing curves work beautifully for formal moments while maintaining enough personality to stand out in a crowded inbox.

The font handles a wide range of design work well. Wedding stationery, thank-you cards, and event programs sit comfortably in Hedgehog's wheelhouse. It also works for indie product packaging (cosmetics, artisan goods, boutique tea blends), DIY craft signs, and social media graphics where a handwritten feel builds genuine trust with your audience. Small business owners turn to it for brand marks and secondary typography that needs warmth without sacrificing legibility at smaller sizes. Greeting cards feel especially natural in this typeface; the personality comes through even when used at modest scales.

At display sizes, Hedgehog's letterforms maintain their distinctive character and read clearly on posters, packaging labels, and signage. The script flows consistently without becoming hard to read, a balance many handwritten fonts struggle to achieve. Its presence on a page draws the eye without feeling forced or gimmicky.
