Graduation University by Funtype Co. is a playful slab serif with a bubbly, hand-drawn character that cuts straight through design noise. The typeface carries a retro-comic energy that feels both approachable and distinctive. It works beautifully for t-shirt graphics, greeting card typography, fun logo concepts, and social sticker collections. Its chunky strokes and rounded letterforms deliver maximum personality at display sizes, where the design really comes alive and captures attention. This is a typeface that's completely unafraid to take up space and make itself known.

Designers reach for it when they need something that feels genuinely human and a little bit cheeky, without leaning corporate or sterile. On children's book covers or quirky packaging labels for independent brands, its playful construction delivers real charm and warmth. There's enough visual weight to anchor a design on its own, but it pairs nicely with cleaner sans-serifs too if you're building layered typographic hierarchies. Real presence matters when you're screening it on merchandise or trying to make text pop in tight design spaces. Nostalgic and vintage-inspired contexts feel equally natural to this typeface's retro sensibility, making it comfortable across a surprising range of projects.
